The one on the left is Todd's apple. He said he did not want much caramel and did it that way on purpose. Looks a little sad but that is how he wanted it.
I'm LeShayne! Wife to Todd; Mom to Tori & Tristan. And this is a simple record of the chaos we call life.

Chaos: Quoted
And mine too! It has been nonstop work and homework, baseball and softball, family and friends, photos and house stuff. I do see a light at the end of the tunnel but its still a month away...
“It turns out that an eerie type of chaos can lurk just behind a facade of order - and yet, deep inside the chaos lurks an even eerier type of order” - Douglas Hodstadter
Stuff is getting done around here. With little free time I am paying bills at the crack of dawn, doing laundry between every other thing, and making meals like a champ. I know they say if you need something done give it to a busy person but usually that moves other things further down my to do list. I am actually keeping up, so that is eerie but makes me happy!
“Chaos often breeds life, when order breeds habit” - Henry Brooks Adams
This is such a good time in our lives. We are enjoying our new space, new activities, time together. We are succeeding in our work lives. The kids are doing well at school! And they are at such a fun age. It is a blast go play catch with them, to share conversation over the dinner table, to hear about the things they are learning, and last night Tori went running with me...awesome! While there are definitely still clashes and arguments and the usual parental frustrations this is a good place for us...

Sol y Mar
Some people hate cruising. Some people love it. I am among the lovers. I cannot imagine anything more peaceful then sailing through blue waters, with puffy clouds overhead and the sun baking down on me. It is my zen like place and to be completely away from all the stress of home in my zen like place was just the refresher I needed.
I have tons of pictures, many of which are on facebook. But my favorite part of the trip was our actual Mexico stop, which is what these pictures are. We rented a little tracker (the jeeps were all stick shift and our driver was more comfortable with automatic) from the brilliantly named Sol y Mar and headed out around the island, till we reached the farthest point on the other side.
The water was so blue and the landscape so gorgeous.
And high on a cliff we found a little bar that Taylor and my brother had found previously. You could see endless ocean from there and the drinks were delicious, the guacamole fresh, and the salsa spicy!
And just when I thought my stress had melted away and I could not be more relaxed I came home to the most amazing surprise. Empty laundry baskets, spic n span clean house, fall decorations and welcome home cards. Big thanks to Mom, Dad, Jonathan and Taylor for this amazing birthday gift. To Taylor, Mom, and Pam for taking the time out of your busy schedules to go with me. And to Todd and the kids for being the family that let's me have time to be me, to soak up my sun and sea, and to come home to my favorite place of all!
